Morgan NEEDS You!

Morgan Motor Company are taking part in the Silverstone Classic event, to raise money for the Bobby Moore Cancer Research UK charity, on Saturday 23rd of July.
Morgan are looking for owners of race prepared Roadster V6 (including the Roadster Lightweight V6), Plus 8s and Plus 4s, who would be willing to lend their car for a 7-lap celebrity race.
In return for the loan of your vehicle, your car will be fully insured and we will provide a new set of tyres before or after the race, any other requests will be given immediate consideration.
Owners will also receive:
• 2 x 3 day admission tickets f/ Silverstone Classic
• 2 places pre-race hospitality with celebrities
• 2 passes to VIP Paddock Assembly Walk
• 2 places post-race hospitality with celebrities
• Signed photograph of owner with celebrity driver
• Duplicate trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Morgan need owners support to make this charitable event a success. Each car driven by a celebrity will raise a minimum of £2,000.00 for The Bobby Moore Cancer Research UK.

The Morgan Sports Car Garden
May 6th
Craig Hamilton-Smith Garden Design Ltd. and the Morgan Motor Company have won a silver medal for their garden at RHS Malvern Spring Show 2010.
MMC and Craig Hamilton-Smith describe their vision for the Morgan garden:
“The Morgan garden celebrates the companies aim for zero emission sports cars.
The three wheeler car at the back of the garden and the zero emission Morgan Sports Car at the front are an example how Morgan have developed over the last 100 years.The Morgan garden, like Morgan, is a mixture of formal structure, but is overlaid with meadow-like planting. This garden will encourage biodiversity, a place where native ecology can thrive.
The garden will be alive with life and movement, catching the wind and light, hopefully there will be something for everyone. This is a garden you could take home and it explores how even with limited space one could have a little piece of meadow. This garden will require relatively little maintenance and consume significantly less resources than a lawn and border.”

Discovering Morgan Sports Cars Through the Lens

Morgan Motor Company have just announced a must attend event for Morgan enthusiasts and photographers.
On July 16, 2010 a limited number of people will spend the day at the Morgan Factory with acclaimed car and commercial photographer Tim Wallace. The lucky attendees will take part in a live Morgan photoshoot.
The experience will include a tour of the factory and lunch in the Morgan Visitors Centre. Places are limited!
